“The short is the dream. The series is the reality and beyond the short, an entire world unfolds.”

From Dream to Reality

Orbit didn’t begin as a short film. It started as a feature script called The Goodbye Tour — a story about love, loss, and the ache of being almost chosen. But making a feature takes time, and I knew this story couldn’t wait.

That’s why I created Orbit the short. It distilled the essence of Celine and Jacob into a dreamlike space, reimagined as Dawn and Jericho. The short became a window into Celine’s subconscious — but it was never the whole story.

The limited series Orbit brings us beyond the dream and into reality, where Celine and Jacob’s full journey unfolds.

The Limited Series: Orbit

Format: 8 episodes, 1 hour each

Genre: Drama / Romance / Psychological

At its core, Orbit is about gravity — the push and pull between two people circling each other through desire, silence, memory, and fear.

Celine’s Journey – A lifetime of longing reshaped into self-discovery.

Jacob’s Struggle – A man scarred by betrayal, wrestling with intimacy and trust.

The Orbit Itself – A universal metaphor for connection: how some people remain in our orbit, shaping us even when distance grows.

From Short to Series

The Short Film – Intimate, imagined, a dream about love that could be.

The Limited Series – Expansive, grounded, the reality of love as it is.

Together, they mirror how we dream of connection and how we actually live it.

Director’s Statement

“For me, Orbit has always been about urgency. I ached to let this story live. The feature script, once called The Goodbye Tour, was where it began — but I realized waiting years to make a feature would mean silencing something I couldn’t hold back.

So, I wrote the short. In it, Celine and Jacob’s love appeared as Dawn and Jericho, fragments of a dream. But finishing the script made one thing clear: this story couldn’t end there. I wasn’t meant to only show the dream — I was meant to tell Celine’s entire story.

The limited series Orbit is that reality. It’s raw, unflinching, and alive — a story about love, silence, and the gravity between two people who can’t quite let each other go.”

Beyond the Short

What began as a feature became a short film. What began as a dream became a reality.
