What is Orbit?

Orbit is an intimate short film about love that was never quite defined — and the pain of almost. It’s set in one room, but it speaks to something much bigger: the moments that change us, even if they don’t last.

🎥 Who’s making this film?

The film is written, directed & produced by Celes Fran, an emerging filmmaker with a passion for honest storytelling. She’s building a team of indie collaborators to bring Orbit to life — powered by community, not big studios.

💸 Where does the money go?

Your donations will fund:

• Cast and crew pay

• Equipment and lighting

• Set design and locations

• Craft Services

• Post-production (editing, sound, color)

• Marketing

• Festival submissions

No fluff. No waste. Just real costs to make a real film.

🧡 What if you don’t reach the $15,000 goal?

We’ll still make Orbit, but at a smaller scale. The $15K lets us do it right — but no matter what, the story is being told. And if the full goal isn’t reached, the thank-you giveaway prize drops to $250 (instead of $1,000), but it still happens.
